Sailed at Felixstowe, Suffolk, for about 20mins due to "other commitments", but didn't miss too much. I guess it was 5m weather, but the wind was so on-off that it's hard to say! The sands have shifted a lot over the winter, but there were still some nice ramps at the end of the bar.

5 guys out, and me the only one not looping... Oh dear.

Most people were on 90/100ltr boards, but as I couldn't stay for long I thought I'd try the new Evo74 again, with a 5.4m, and it worked a treat. Definitely didn't feel too small, even in the lulls when there was bu**er all wind. (Can you tell that I'm pleased with it?!)

Ordinarily a naff session, but I guess anything's good after the last SIX MONTHS of no sailing at all.
